I’ve been watching Chef’s Table with a friend of mine (quite a foodie too), and we went drooling when we saw what Christina Tosi is baking… I couldn’t get over the genius behind cereal milk panna cotta, compost cookies or birthday truffles. There was one treat that got our attention and curiosity even more – a crack pie. Impossible to resist sweet, sugary, oat cookie based pie. I knew I had to try making it.

I will be honest with you. Life has been very hectic for the past three months. I couldn’t find space or motivation to cook properly and adjust the way I cook to suit just me and my daughter. I missed photography and I missed the creative part of me. But thanks to good friend (yes Ewelina, that’s all thanks to you!) I got a kick in the arse and suddenly I woke up with the energy to do things I really love doing.

There are certain things that I will never get bored of. I will always comment on the grass getting greener in Spring, the smell and the warmth of fire, glass of good red wine in the evening. And lemon drizzle cake. I am quite surprised that I actually haven’t posted it yet!

How do you get inspiration for your cooking? Cookbooks? TV shows (Great British Bake Off anyone?). My brain registers everything that can be related to food. I don’t even know how it does that! Rainbow cookies
School bake sales are on before Halloween. I usually bake something for my daughter’s school. If you are looking to make something that will impress the little ones, try also these strawberry bars. With kids in mind I made these rainbow cookies. They are really easy to make and you can double the ingredients so when you are in need of something sweet and delicious you can bake them quickly. There is nothing like warm cookies and glass of milk… Continue reading “Rainbow cookies”
Coffee cake muffins

Fig and cherry chia pudding
My chia pudding recipe is great for breakfast or as a dessert. It is creamy and luxurious. You can add whatever you wish to it. The one I made on the photo is with figs, homemade raspberry jam, vanilla yogurt, cherries and dark chocolate. Healthy indulgence – that’s what it is:) Continue reading “Fig and cherry chia pudding”
Royal Apple Cake
Coming back from sunny Poland to autumn in Ireland… Ahhh… the smell of cooler mornings, the extra cardigan to put on… I love this time of the year. Continue reading “Royal Apple Cake”
Blueberry muffins
My adventure with muffins began about 8 years ago when I was expecting my daughter. I craved these luscious, sweet and fluffy buns which I could eat without guilt then (right?). And seriously, who doesn’t like the blueberry muffins? They are ridiculously easy to make. In fact, the less effort you make in mixing the batter, the better the muffins! They are great for quick snack on the go and kids absolutely love them.
