This is easy and quick recipe with tons of flavour! It is so fragrant that when I ‘taste’ it, I just have to stop myself from eating the whole batch with bread… It is brilliant with tomato soup or with pasta on its own, or just on the slice of crusty ciabatta. Try it! Continue reading “Pesto”
Kluski śląskie – Silesian potato dumplings
Did you notice that when you talk about food you grew up with, you express it in terms ‘oh my god’, ‘so delicious’, ‘I would love to eat it now’. At least I am like that. I like showing my Irish family what is polish cuisine like and they really like it! Continue reading “Kluski śląskie – Silesian potato dumplings”
Szarlotka – polish apple pie
I am home sick. Although I am living away from my family for the last thirteen years, I still get home sick. To brighten up mood I decided to bake what my mam used to make almost every Saturday morning.
Raspberries and Cream Pavlova
Crispy outside and soft, airy inside…tangy raspberries combined with richness of cream and freshness of mint… what’s not to love! My sister in law makes perfect pavlova so I ‘borrowed’ her recipe:) Continue reading “Raspberries and Cream Pavlova”
Creamy vegetable and chicken soup

Quinoa puttanesca bowl
I discovered pasta puttanesca years ago when I was too lazy to go out to the shop and I had few ingredients in the fridge. Quick google search and pasta puttanesca appeared (btw google is life saver when you don’t know what to cook!). My eating habits changed a little since then and I often substitute pasta with quinoa or rice. This combination was first introduced to me by Sophie’s Nutrition Bootcamp and it really works great! Continue reading “Quinoa puttanesca bowl”
Creamy leek, potato and bacon soup
Do you remember the soup I made recently? Curried butternut squash? It went down really well with my family and kids loved it too. So I am giving another soup a go today. Leek, potato and bacon – classic combination that just works. Continue reading “Creamy leek, potato and bacon soup”
Healthy curried butternut squash soup

Now I am ready to go back to my normal eating habits. Continue reading “Healthy curried butternut squash soup”
Tropical raspberry smoothie
It is winter here and I am dreaming of a sunny beach. This berrylicious tropical smoothie has the power to take me straight there! The combination of pineapple, mango and coconut works beautifully with anything else you wish to add to it, but I chose raspberries, banana and lime for this holiday taste I am after right now.
